These handmade sugar glider treats are my own recipe and make a healthy treat for your Sugar Gliders. I have had a nutritional analysis performed on the recipe and it has a calcium to phosphorus ratio better than 2:1. I could not obtain an exact ratio as the nutritional analysis does not include the acacia gum, as I couldnt seem to locate specific nutritional values for that ONE ingredient, but we all know acacia gum contains lots of calcium. The treats contain that all important acacia gum and bee pollen and contain many trace minerals and vitamins as well, all naturally occuring in the ingredients used, NO added vitamins or preservatives! This makes it easy to fit the treats into your diet without throwing it off.
Remember...these are meant as TREATS and not a substitute food source. They are much healthier than those yogurt drops! Yogurt drops are like a candy and have almost NO nutritional value...UNLIKE my Sugar Glider Cookie Treats! These sugar glider treats do not contain any bugs and are safe for human consumption as well, just in case you like to share treats.
