Feather hair accessories are a fun and beautiful way to dress up your hair.  Beautiful handmade feather hair clips are much better than the feather hair extensions that have become so popular.    Feather hair clips are much more versatile.  You can have them in different colors to match your outfit or mood, place them wherever you wish on your head, take them out whenever you wish, and replace them easily without a trip to the salon!  Feather hair extensions from the salon last weeks, maybe months.  With proper care, my feather hair clips will last YEARS!

Each feather is individually picked for size, shape, and individual beauty.  I love feathers, and truly enjoy making these.  I hope you enjoy wearing them as much!

A little bit about my Feather Hair Clips:

I make my Feather Hair Clips/Extensions in 2 lengths.  The long ones are about 9" to 12" long, the short ones are about 5" to 8" long.  The short ones are nice for people with shorter hair, or can be worn behind the ear for a nice effect (see photo below). Each feather hair clip is made with 6 to 16 feathers depending on length and feather fluffiness.

I use an assortment of crystal, glass, or acrylic beads to accent the feather clips. The strong silver-finish clip itself is decorated with a few real crystal rhinestones.  You can request for the silver clip to be left plain if you wish, as well as request certain bead/crystal colors.  If no special requests are made, feather hair clips will be sent as shown (assorted neutral colored beads/crystals).  Please note: although the clip part is shown to be decorated with crystals and feathers, the clip part will now have only crystals on them, as per customer feedback.

NEWLY ADDED!  Feather Hair Clips for MEN!

You can now request "Hidden Clips"!  These clips are nice for tucking under your hair if you do not want the clip to show, or for MEN to wear!  YES I said men!  Some men actually like wearing feathers, but they dont necesarily want the clip to show or any beads!  All Feather Hair Clips are NOW available in "Men Style"!  They will be made with Hidden Clips, no beads, and less chain showing for a full "feather effect"!  Check out photos below!  If "Men Style" is desired, please specify in "Custom/special request" box when ordering!

The Neytiri Feather Hair Clip!

I named the following clips after Neytiri in the movie Avavtar.  They are simple clips, using the "hidden" clip, little or no chain, and no beads.  They are wonderful for men to use too!  You can request one or two feather types to customize your own, and you may also request the regular hair clip if you desire (no crystals).  You can also request a third feather, but may need to use a very small bit of chain to make it work.  These clips are shorter due to the fact I do not use any chain to lengthen them.  They will be the length of the feathers you choose.  Read on below:

It was my husband who inspired me to make these feather hair clips for men.  He really likes feathers too, and wanted his own feather hair clip, but didn't want any beads.  He also wanted less chain to show.
