The Peek-A-Boo Log Pouch and the Peek-A-Boo Play Log

The Peek-A-Boo Log Pouch is about 10" long. The plastic tube between the layers of fleece is only about 6" long so that the "sleeping" end of the pouch doesn't have any plastic. I felt this would make the pouch more comfy and have better ventilation while they sleep.
The "vine" on the Log Pouch is about 15" and is sewn with "hidden seams". I thought a vine would be fun for them to jump to and climb up. There are 2 small leaves on the vine (also with hidden seams). There are 5 "leaves" added to the Log Pouch for "hiding" and decoration (necessary in a good pouch don't you think?). The larger leaves are not sewn leaves. They are just cut fleece. I used a multi green fleece that actually has horses on it (the brown spots). I couldn't get enough for pouches but it works ok for leaves!
In the photo I used zebra fleece because it reminded me of a birch tree. I may be getting a plain brown fleece soon. You may choose a fleece color for the Log Pouch or Play Log. Both may be hung vertically or horizontally in the cage.
The Play Log is about 8" long. Diameter is about 4 1/2" to 5" wide. There are 7 "leaves" added, 4 on one end and 3 on the other to help your sugar gliders "hide". Sometimes my sugar gliders will nap in their play log rather than their pouch! The Play Log is open on both ends!
I use only high quality fleece and the seams on the inside are "hidden" for safety. The thin plastic tube between the layers of fleece helps the tube to keep its shape. It is made from a food grade plastic and is quite flexible but still gives some form to the tube. I have thrown them in the washer and dryer but I recommend hand washing for a longer life. Both Logs come with 2 loops for hanging and of course you get free clips!
